Location: Bangalore/Kochi

Kalkitech is seeking an Application Architect with experience in design and development of solutions and architecture of Java/J2EE applications. Candidate should have a passion for creation of new technologies; domain experience in with energy and power metering technologies preferred.

Years of Work Experience: 10 – 14 years

Responsibilities:

• Develop application architecture and architectural artifact including architectural overview, application architecture diagrams, architectural decisions documentation and associated data models
• Design and handle large volume of data in Web applications with multiple integration points
• Design applications on cloud SaaS platform, leveraging containerized architecture
• Ability to understand the business requirements and existing architecture
• Assist in all phases of the software development life cycle in creating new software, systems and business processes
• Occasional customer interaction

Skills /Expertise Required

• Education: Bachelor degree in Engineering (CS, EC, IT)
• Java/J2EE design and development skills
• SDLC and OOPS concepts
• Web Services, Multithreading
• Design patterns, Data Structures
• Entity Relationship Modelling, Data Architecting, RDBMS, SQL proficiency
• System Analysis and Design

Skills/Expertise Highly Desirable

• Responsive Design
• Dockers / Kubernetes
• Cloud based SaaS architecture
• Knowledge of Oracle
• Knowledge of Source Version controls like SVN
