Kalkitech is looking for an experienced test engineer to conduct manual and automated testing of Kalkitech hardware and software products; create test cases and test plans.

Years of Work Experience: 1 – 4 years

Type Employment: Contract (1-year)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual test and automated product testing of Kalkitech SYNC products
• Preparation of test case and creation of test plans

Skills /Expertise Required

• Hands-on experience in protocol testing using application protocols common in power substations and meters including IEC101, 103, 104, 61850; Modbus, CNP, DLMS
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, I2C, SPI protocols
• Knowledge about networking, embedded systems, electronics
• Strong debugging skills
• Basic working knowledge of Linux
• Programming skills required for white box testing; scripting skills
• Basic knowledge about electric substation automation / substation communications
• Ability to apply technical, engineering and quality assurance concepts to solve practical problems
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
