Kalkitech is seeking a senior webmaster who is self-driven and can work independently and as part of the marketing team. They will have responsibility for maintenance and development of several of the company’s websites and servers hosted internally as well as on a public cloud.

Years of Work Experience: 5+ years
Responsibilities:

• Maintain Internal and external websites of the company and its various applications
• Ensure the web server hardware and software are operating accurately
• Design websites, Generate and revise web pages
• Configure web servers such as Apache. Maintain and update existing websites using CMS, including updates to content, creation of new web pages, assuring site scales and continues to achieve adequate performance expectations
• Drive SEO – analysis and guidance on how to improve content and make it more SEO friendly.
• Maintain web statistics including Google Analytics, LuckyOrange; make recommendations to improve visibility, performance.
• Perform backups, manage databases and administer web-based security
• Troubleshoot and debug the website (performance, cybersecurity issues, etc.); manage software updates
• Driver in designing look and feel of new website that is mobile friendly and performs well for SEO
• Collaborate with marketing and product management teams as well as HR / Finance for maintenance of Intranet
• Drive setup, maintenance and monitoring of performance for GoogleAd Words, working with marketing team. Make suggestions on improvements and strategies.
• Stay abreast of developments and in websites and SEO technology
• Familiarity with social media such as Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube; make recommendations on improving visibility

Skills /Expertise Required

• Engineering degree (CS, EE)
• 5+ years experience in a webmaster role
• Hands-on knowledge and in-depth experience with: HTML, PHP, WordPress, Java, Java Script, SQL; Linux / Unix and Apache administration
• Desirable: experience with Adobe Illustrator
• Hands-on familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Team player
