Duration of Hiring :12 months No of years’ experience :5+ Years Requirement is for an Infrastructure Architect & not Solution Architect. - GE is using AWS as IAAS & not as PAAS, with the strategy for their solution to be Cloud-agnostic - The Architect should be able to provide design as well as be hands on, in providing Infra services , for a solution based on Distributed /Micro services Architecture , as per GE project requirements (some of them are covered below) • Strong hands-on skills and understanding of overall distributed/microservice architecture • Strong hands-on skills and understanding of AWS cloud architecture and main functionalities, and be able perform tasks such as design and configure load balancing, auto scaling, SQL/NoSQL databases, securities, etc., and deploy services, applications and data to these facilities • Strong hands-on skills and understanding of containers such as Docker and container cluster and orchestration technologies such as Swarm, and be able configure and deploy them onto AWS cloud • Good knowledge of use cases in IoT spaces, not just transportations
