Hiring for Vertica Developer for Bangalore Location

Please share your cv to anzteam@poweritservices.com Contract duration : 6 months Exp : 5+ Detailed JD : • Languages: Perl, Shell scripting and Python • Database: Vertica, Oracle, Teradata • Operating Systems: UNIX/LINUX, MAC OS Basic: • Strong knowledge in PL/SQL and DBMS concepts. Should have few years of hands-on experience in databases like Oracle or Teradata. • Should have good knowledge and experience in scripting using Unix shell or Perl. • Should be strong in Data warehousing concepts, dimensional Star Schema and Snowflakes Schema methodologies • Should have 2-3 years of experience on Vertica database as a developer in various projects and good work experience and knowledge on Vertica DB and architecture. • Knowledge on Projections, Super-Projections, Buddy-Projections and Pre-Join Projections in Vertica • Understanding & knowledge on High Availability, Replication and K-Safety in Vertica. • Understanding on segmentation, compression techniques and encoding, load balancing techniques in Vertica • Creation of schemas, data bases, users, nodes and grants on tables, users, databases • Performance tuning the queries in Vertica
