- California based e-commerce client business that is a selling products online on many marketplaces like
- ebay and Amazon. We have no inventory so we drop ship from many different
- suppliers. We have a team in our office in Newbury Park, CA as well as a team in India
- to operate the business including order fulfilment and customer support.
- The Business Analyst is to study the current business operations and monitor the
- business performance in relation to order fulfillment and customer support
- Review current sales orders and online marketplaces and monitor the issues associated
- with them like late orders, cancelled orders and RMA concerns.
- Prepare reports with a summary of the main performance measurements and the main
- problems that need to be fixed
- Work with the order processing team, customer support team, programmers and
- suppliers to find the cause of the problems.
- Prepare a document of the current systems, policies and procedures and the changes
- required to fix the problems.
- Communicate the required changes to all parties involved in the project.
- Monitor that the changes have been made and that the problems are resolved.
- Determine all the issues that need to be measured and monitored and work with the
- system analyst to design a system to automate the collection and reporting of this data.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must have a good understanding of ecommerce, drop shipping and online marketplaces
- such as ebay and Amazon.
- Ability to excel in a fast paced environment with a high degree of change and ambiguity.
- Past and proven experience as a business analyst is a MUST, with demonstrated ability
- to measure and improve business performance.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated expertise in writing and presentation.
- Record of consistently high performance and achievement.
