Software Engineer in Test

Nifty Window is seeking a person experienced in constantly testing, scaling and building more resilient code base to join our core product development team in Bangalore. In this role, you will collaborate with the product development team and design, create and code tests apart from building tools that will help developers be more productive, write better code and test it themselves constantly. You will identify functional, stress, longevity and systemic problems and come up with creative automated /manual test solutions and resolutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Create effective test plans and test cases validating application requirements and conforming to established guidelines
• Design, document and execute test cases. Record and analyze test results
• Identify, confirm, report and manage defects through resolution
• Conduct test case reviews to ensure requirement coverage
• Perform functional, security and performance testing at the unit, integration and system levels.
• Create and execute manual test plans and test cases for assigned components/features
• Develop automated tests for test cases and integrate automations into test suites
• Design and develop tools for test management, execution and reporting to enhance the overall software testing process
• Test implementations/integrations with third party platforms

You will also need to:

• Desired skills & Experience
• You have two or more years of work experience in quality assurance, test engineering or software engineering and have the following skillset(s):
• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline from a reputed engineering college
• Experience in functional automated test tools (e.g., Selenium, QuickTestPro, TestComplete, etc.)
• Experience in benchmarking or profiling
• Experience with at least one scripting/programming language
• Possess strong technical and analytical skills, along with a high level of attention to detail
